Learn About Video Game Industry: Tour & Talk with CEO of Codename Entertainment

The winner of this lot will visit the headquarters of Codename Entertainment in Victoria, BC. for themselves and 1 guest. The visit will include seeing the different roles involved in making Codename's games and a sit down with Eric Jordan, CEO of Codename. Eric is not only the CEO of Codename Entertainment, but also the chair of the Video Games Industry Round Table with VIATEC and a board member of DigiBC. As such, the conversation can range from how to make and launch your first video game to understanding opportunities to work in the video game industry in Victoria and the rest of BC.
Codename's most recent game, Crusaders of the Lost Idols, launched in 2015. It was awarded the Idle Game of the Year on Armor Games, is one of the most played games on Kongregate.com out of more than 107,000. Players have racked up over 25 million unique plays across all platforms, and more than 1.2 million hours played per month on Steam.
Scheduling will be worked out with Codename to ensure a time when a meeting with Eric Jordan is possible, and of course the tour must happen on a normal working day when Codename is open.
