Andrew Cohen and Anna Kuman are a husband-and-wife team that have been lucky to work together around the world. Earlier this year, they performed across Canada in Axis Theatre's national tour of Hamelin: A New Fable (Anna played Celeste & Mummy; Andy played the Sheriff & "Cool Brown Rat"). Some of their favourite projects include: the World Premiere of CIRCLE GAME: Reimagining the Music of Joni Mitchell at the Firehall (which they also Conceived and Directed), the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies, creating the annual Christmas Spectacular at Richmond Centre and most recently, the Opening Ceremony of the 2017 Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
Individually, Anna was recently seen in Mary Poppins, and Red Rock Diner (Arts Club) and will be treading the boards of the Stanley again this Christmas as "Babette" in Beauty and the Beast. Andrew has appeared in Godspell (Arts Club), Hunchback (Playhouse), and Elf the Musical (Chemainus). Anna is a CapU Musical Theatre graduate and Andrew a UBC BFA grad. They are both OVATION AWARD winners for Best Newcomer. Anna picked up the CTC Award for Best Choreography for Fighting Chance Productions' Rocky Horror, while Andrew earned the City of Richmond Arts Award for directing the viral video UBC LipDub.
